Lagos State Government Suspends Reopening of Mosques and Churches Indefinitely

The Lagos State Government has suspended the reopening of mosques and churches on Friday, June 19 and Sunday, June 21 respectively.

The governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu disclosed this during a briefing at Alausa. He explained that this was a result of the rising cases of the corona virus pandemic in the state.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos State has a total of 7319 confirmed cases
and it is expected that more would be recorded.
